There is a repaired crack in the bell and the nearby bell ring has some damage. The metal plating has been polished to a high shine, but has a little spot wear as is typical for this type of instrument. The lacquer has some scratching and a few minor chips, but is remarkably intact. From a cosmetic perspective, this instrument shows some wear, but is in great condition overall. The wood material gives the instrument a richer sound than similar plastic models. Its relatively low cost and good quality make it a great choice for a student starting out on the instrument. It now plays cleanly and evenly up and down and responds as it should. All the pads are brand new, replaced during our overhaul process on this instrument.
